Residence Renovation

For many years Toronto Baptist Seminary has used these 4 units as housing particularly for international students or those outside of the Greater Toronto area.

With increasing enrollment the demands for space increased. The board of trustees investigated thoroughly various options, and were granted consent by the municipal authorities to make a complete renovation of these buildings. A finalized design plan for both exterior and interior renovations was finalized in consultation with Mr. David Noble of Noble Construction.  This project has now been completed.

Improvement Highlights
  • Basements have been excavated and repaired
  • Renovated washrooms in each unit with new showers
  • Exterior repointing of bricks while retaining the original historical features
  • New drywalling, painting after insulation and new wiring
  • Each room has hard-wired Internet connection
  • New furnishings in each room
